PM Modi to Launch Key Infrastructure, Rail Projects in West Bengal and Assam
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to West Bengal and Assam, during which he will flag off India's first Vande Bharat Sleeper train from Malda. He will also lay the foundation stone for rail and road projects worth over 3,250 crore rupees and launch four major railway projects and four Amrit Bharat Express trains in West Bengal. On the second day, PM Modi will perform the 'bhoomi pujan' for the 6,950 crore rupee Kaziranga Elevated Corridor project in Kaliabor, Assam, and inaugurate two new Amrit Bharat Express trains. Additionally, he will unveil and lay foundations for development projects worth over 830 crore rupees in Singur, West Bengal, and launch three more Amrit Bharat Express trains from Kolkata.
