PM Modi Launches Vande Bharat Sleeper Train, Multi-Crore Infrastructure Projects Across West Bengal and Assam
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to West Bengal and Assam, where he will launch India's first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train from Malda. During his visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for rail, road, and infrastructure projects exceeding 3,250 crore rupees in West Bengal. These include new rail lines, modern freight and Vande Bharat maintenance facilities, and the flagging off of several Amrit Bharat Express trains. In Assam, PM Modi will perform the 'Bhumi Pujan' for the over 6,950 crore rupee Kaziranga Elevated Corridor Project and flag off additional Amrit Bharat Express trains. The visit also includes the inauguration of development projects worth more than 830 crore rupees in West Bengal's Hooghly district.
