The gang, identified as the 'Gulgulia Gang,' reportedly targeted children from impoverished families in Jharkhand and trafficked them to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Odisha. Authorities are investigating potential links to human organ trafficking and are preparing to conduct DNA tests to reunite the rescued children with their families. The rescued children were reportedly forced into various illegal activities, including theft and begging, with girls allegedly being coerced into sex work upon reaching adulthood.
