Odisha Boy Blinded by Exploding Chip Packet, Family Files FIR

An eight-year-old boy in Titlagarh, Balangir district, Odisha, permanently lost sight in one eye after a chip packet he was holding exploded upon coming into contact with a lit gas stove. The incident occurred when the child was near the kitchen stove, and the packet reportedly slipped from his hand, detonating with significant force. His family has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the chip manufacturing company, and police have launched an investigation into the product's quality and the cause of the explosion.
